1a. | All services must be paid for when booked. Payment must be received within 24 hours for the booking to be confirmed. For pet sitting, a 50% non-refundable* deposit is required on booking to confirm the job. |
1b. | A 'late payment fee' of £5 is implemented if payment is overdue by 24 business hours. If the 1st is a Friday, payment will be accepted on the subsequent Monday. If the 1st falls on a bank holiday, there will be 24 hours' leeway. |
2. | Payment is taken in cash, bank transfer or PayPal. |
3. | REGULAR WALKING: If the customer cancels, the following fees may apply: 2+ weeks' notice full refund, 1 week's notice = 75% refund, <48hrs notice = no refund. |
4. | If Wonder Walkies cancels a service, a refund will be issued within 24 hours using the payment method the customer initially used. A full refund will be processed if service has yet to be provided. When a service has been partially provided, a partial refund will be issued subject to the provided service. |
5. | If the client changes/cancels any service during the time it is due to take place, a refund will not be issued. |
6. | If there is any dissatisfaction with our service, it should be discussed directly with Wonder Walkies. If the client feels a complete service has yet to be provided by these terms, the service may be redone or a refund given; no travel costs will be refunded. Any issues should be brought up within 48 hours of completing the service; otherwise, no action will be taken. |
7. | All clients who book with Wonder Walkies agree to have photos of their pets taken and kept for advertising or promotional purposes. Wonder Walkies will not disclose any details to third parties. |
8. | Any services between 5 and 9 miles (inclusive) from Yate incur a £5 fuel charge. |
9. | All dogs must be able to travel in the back of a crated van or car unless stated otherwise at the time of booking, at which point other alternative arrangements may be made. |
10. | When booking, the client must specify if their dog can be walked in a group, how it reacts to other dogs/people, and whether you allow it to be let off the lead. |
11. | When requesting sitting service, please specify if your dog can be left alone and, if so, for how long. Other details that need to be disclosed are any feeding regimes that must be adhered to and any issues that may arise, for example, chewing in the house, anxiety, etc. The dog walking terms from above also apply when a dog being sat is taken out. |
12. | All grooming services are done at the client's residence. The client is responsible for advising Wonder Walkies of any allergies, anxieties, or past snapping incidents while the dog is being groomed and agreeing to the dog being muzzled should the need arise. |
13. | All photography shoots incur a non-refundable booking fee. The client has 6 months to decide whether to purchase any images before they are deleted. Images will be sent to the client via email, Facebook message, or (where location allows) a USB stick. |
14. | Orders for collars and harnesses will be dispatched within 48 hours of receipt of payment. Only faulty goods will be exchanged, and the client must notify Wonder Walkies in writing within 48 hours of the fault. A postage fee of £5 will be applied to all orders of collars and harnesses, with the client paying for all return postage. |
15. | All dogs MUST be chipped or have an ID tag; no dog will be allowed off-lead without this. In accordance with the 1992 Control of Dogs Order, all dogs must have a collar with a tag displaying a daytime telephone number and the owner's name and address (NOT the dog's name). |
16. | Service estimates and quotes are free of charge and valid for 14 days. Any price increases after this time will be communicated to the client in writing before the next session. |
17. | The client is liable for any damage caused to their property (house, van, or public). |
18. | Any undisclosed aggression issues will be reported to the owner and, if necessary, the dog warden. |
19. | Emergency contact details must be provided when booking and available during the service. |
20. | Any relevant vet bills will be reimbursed within 14 days for any service. |
21. | Wonder Walkies has the right to refuse future bookings based on any breach of these T&Cs and/or failure to disclose behaviour/health issues that negatively affect the service. |
Wonder Walkies may apply The Late Payment of Commercial Debt (Interest) Act 1998 as amended to any invoice which exceeds the payment terms stated. These terms are governed by English Law.
